Joe Rogan isn’t mincing his words when it comes to Trump’s deportation policies. On his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, he raised some serious concerns about how innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire of the immigration crackdown.
🛑 Deporting the Innocent – That’s a Problem
Rogan’s all for tougher borders when it comes to keeping criminals out, but what he’s really worried about is the innocent people being swept up in the system. “I get it – we need to keep criminals out. But when innocent people are getting deported, that’s a whole different issue,” Rogan said, sounding more frustrated than usual.
He put it bluntly: “People who are not criminals are getting lassoed up and sent to places like El Salvador prisons. That’s just wrong.”
💔 The Case of Andry José Hernández Romero
One particular case that really got under Rogan’s skin was that of Andry José Hernández Romero, a gay Venezuelan asylum seeker. Romero was deported along with suspected gang members despite not being involved in any criminal activity. Rogan called it “horrific.”
Rogan didn’t hold back: “You want to get rid of the bad guys, but not innocent people who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s not okay to treat a gay hairdresser like a gang member just because of a mistake in the system.”
🤔 Is Joe Rogan Turning on Trump?
So, has Joe Rogan had enough of Trump’s deportation policies? It sure sounds like it. While Rogan hasn’t completely turned his back on stricter immigration controls, he’s clearly not a fan of the collateral damage happening under Trump’s watch.
