Liz Truss has declared that the UK needs a Trump-style revolution. The problem? No one remembers being consulted on this.
Speaking in an interview, the former prime minister said:
“We want to be part of the Second American Revolution… A lot of people in Europe are talking about ‘Make Europe Great Again.’ They understand what Donald Trump is trying to do in America and want the same thing in Europe.”
It seems Truss has fully embraced the MAGA movement – and she’s not alone.
📉 Meanwhile, Her Former Lover Is Spilling the Tea
As if that wasn’t enough drama, former Conservative MP Mark Field has revealed that his alleged relationship with Truss played a part in the breakdown of his marriage.
Field, who served as MP for Cities of London and Westminster from 2001 to 2019, claimed the “first serious signs of cracks” in his marriage appeared “just as Elizabeth Truss entered his life.”
Awkward timing, to say the least.
🔥 A ‘Chilling’ Warning from Truss
Truss’s interview wasn’t just about MAGA-style politics. It also came with a dire warning for the West.
A promo blurb for the interview painted a bleak picture:
“With Britain heading for bankruptcy, grooming gangs, unchecked immigration, and the rising threat of Islamism, is it too late to Make Europe Great Again?”
Truss, apparently undeterred by past political disasters, is now working on a new media venture to rival the BBC. She also claimed that the Bank of England “turned on her” and criticised Canada’s new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, labelling his leadership as incompetent.
Her final message?
“If we do not turn this around within 10 years, the West is finished.”
Nothing like a bit of doomsday rhetoric to rally the troops.
