Elon Musk does a lot of things that annoy, frustrate and make people cringe. Some others love him but they will probably stop reading this now.
Anyway, here are three things about Elon Musk that are his most recent cringeworthy moments…
1.
Elon Musk rage quit
Elon Musk abruptly cut off a live stream playing one of one of his favorite video games after being bombarded with trolling comments.
On Saturday 5 April) the Tesla boss was playing Path of Exile 2. Despite reportedly claiming to be one of the game’s top players in the past, he seemingly struggled and repeatedly died in the game.
Art Candee wrote on X: “Elon Musk rage quit his livestream playing a video game while getting mercilessly trolled in the comments. He says “connection lost” yet he’s still live streaming. Is he trying to say he’s soft, that he can’t play video games, or that Starlink service isn’t so good?”
2.
Boys squabbling.
On Tuesday (April 8), White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt brushed off the escalating feud between Elon Musk and Peter Navarro. She said: “No, look, these are obviously two individuals who have very different views on trade and on tariffs. Boys will be boys, and we will let their public sparring continue,” she said.
“And you guys should all be very grateful that we have the most transparent administration in history.”
It comes as Elon Musk called Navarro a “moron” after the economist called Musk as a “car assembler,” as he claimed Tesla vehicles needs parts made in countries like China, Japan and Taiwan to be manufactured.
3.
Musk’s brother
Musk’s brother isn’t a fan of Donald Trump’s so-called “liberation day” tariff scheme calling it a “permanent tax” on Americans.
In a scathing post on X/Twitter, Kimbal Musk, the youngest brother of Elon Musk, slammed Trump as “the most high tax American President in generations” and outlined exactly why he thinks the tariffs are ultimately bad for the American people.
Musk wrote: “Through his tariff strategy, Trump has implemented a structural, permanent tax on the American consumer.
“Even if he is successful in bringing jobs on shore through the tariff tax, prices will remain high and the tax on consumption will remain (in) the form of higher prices because we are simply not as good at making all things.”
