As NHS patients in England are going to be shifted to care homes to ease pressure on hospitals, a vote leave video about the predicted success of the NHS has gone viral again.
It also comes as Grant Shapps has defended putting patients in cabins in car parks to deal with the ongoing A&E overcrowding catastrophe.
Shapps, on LBC, said: “I’m in favour of the NHS doing whatever it needs to do to clear those backlogs. If that means temporary, modular, whatever, or using clinics closer to people or whatever else is required, I mean, for heaven’s sake, let’s get on and do those things.”
If that wasn’t enough Shapps’ claim the GMB put lives at risk by not negotiating national safety levels during last strike was called out as an ‘outrageous slur.’
As you can see, below, the GMB are not taking Grant’s comments lying down.
Vote Leave
So this would indicate to most people that the NHS is on its knees?
With this in mind we return to the Vote Leave video mentioned earlier.
Nick Tyrone tweeted: “Some Brexiters have got in touch to tell me I’m making stuff up when I say that Vote Leave campaigned on the idea that Brexit would mean shorter wait times for medical treatment. So, here is the evidence:”
Reactions
A lot of people were left shaking their heads after watching the video.
