Nigel Farage is on I’m a Celebrity get me out of here and it had angered many. Presenters Ant & Dec managed to get a dig at GB News, where Farage has a show.
Boycott
Also, many people are boycotting the show due to Nigel’s appearance.
Here is one example, Dr Jo Grady wrote: “Farage’s appearance on #ImACeleb from tonight is further proof that the UK isn’t a democracy anymore, it’s a TV show.
“They are sending him on, like they sent on Hancock to divert attention from their horrible and damaging politics and to humanise them.
“Don’t fall for it.”
Or this…
“It’s also useful for the ‘humanise the monster’ narrative, that is, it can make folk like Farage, Hancock etc. appear humane rather than inhumane as their politics and policies clearly show them to be.
“And in the case of Farage, of course, here is a man who has made a career from monsterising humans, particularly vulnerable ones at that, in the shape of migrants and refugees.”
Nigel Farage: Ant & Dec mock GB News
Ant said: “Nigel’s not just known for his controversial political career. He’s also got his own show on GB News.”
Dec cut in: “Now of course, he won’t be presenting that show over the next three weeks, so we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to all of GB News’ viewers…”
Ant added: “Sorry Keith. Sorry Linda.”
Farage trial
“So the Your votes mean Nella & Nigel are going on a date to the Jungle Pizzeria! Find out their review tomorrow at 9pm,” tweeted I’m a Celebrity out of Here.
The ex-politician and social media influencer will be visiting the ‘Jungle Pizzeria’ during tonight’s episode, after the first public vote saw viewers choose them to eat some unpleasant food.
Many people will hope it continues for Nigel.
