The judge ruled there âcan be no doubtâ that he knew about the practice while he was running the editorial side of the newspaper.
The TalkTV presenter said Fridayâs judgment found there was âjust one article relating to Prince Harryâ which involved phone hacking during his editorship.
Piers added he ânever hacked a phoneâ while editor or told anyone else to â and added he had âyet to produce evidenceâ.
He added that the Prince Harry had a âruthless, greedy and hypocritical enthusiasmâ for self-promotion.
Morgan said he was not asked to âprovide a statementâ to the court, and was ânot able to respondâ to accusations from âold foes with an axe to grindâ.
The Duke of Sussex has been awarded substantial damages after the judge found his phone had indeed been hacked.
