At today’s PMQs Rishi Sunak ridiculed SNP leader, but was left with egg on his face, and not for the first time.
The SNP’s Stephen Flynn called Rishi Sunak a “near billionaire” as he asked when he last struggled to pay a bill (our guess is never).
Flynn made the reference to the prime minister’s wealth after Mr Sunak urged homeowners and borrowers to “hold their nerve” after fixed-rate mortgages rose to their highest level since the aftermath of Liz Truss’ disastrous mini-Budget.
Mr Sunak and his wife have an estimated worth of around £529m, a bit off a billionaire, if you want to be pedantic.
Sunak ridiculed SNP leader
Rishi Sunak then tried to accuse the SNP of economic illiteracy and filmmaker Peter Stefanovic was left enraged by the comment, as you will see from his most recent video.
Peter shared the video and wrote: “At #PMQs today @RishiSunak shamelessly tried to ridicule SNP leader @StephenFlynnSNP for “complete economic illiteracy” when calling for fair pay for public sector workers BUT IT’S THE PM WHO IS BEING “ECONOMICALLY ILLITERATE” not Flynn and he knows it! Thank you Stephen Flynn.”

Parody Rishi Sunak tweeted in response: “As a millionaire, I possess valuable insights into the interests and perspectives of shareholders, bankers, and the affluent community, enabling me to make informed decisions that align with their needs.”
