A response to a question about a child eating cereal with water has caused outrage.
It comes as PM Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer clashed in the first PMQs since the Tories suffered heavy losses in last week’s local elections, and it was, as ever frustrating and a race to the bottom.
Now, the Labour leader told the chamber that the PM would have to give another update on employment numbers ‘now he’s cost 1,000 Tory councillors their jobs’.
In reply, Rishi Sunak quoted Tony Blair saying, ‘the right honourable gentleman can be as cocky as he likes about the local elections: come the general election, policy counts. The problem for him is he doesn’t have any!’
Then Rishi Sunak also called Starmer ‘softy’ and now added ‘flaky’ into the mix.
Cereal with water
It was the question about the PM having been told of a child eating cereal with water because their parents couldn’t afford milk that angered Peter Stefanovic.
The PM replied with a boast and it left peter fuming as he created a new film.
Peter shared his anger at the PM and wrote: “The Prime Minister’s boast at #PMQs having been told of a child eating cereal with water because their parents couldn’t afford milk should send the country into outrage. If you share my anger RT this widely.”
