Rishi Sunak’s campaign video has been slammed in a new viral video by Peter Stefanovic.
He had already been accused of “desperate stuff” by holding a business event in Nottinghamshire – breaking the political tradition that the two main parties give each other’s party conference space.
Mark Harper
Before we get to that Victoria Derbyshire held Transport Secretary Mark Harper to account yesterday saying: “Rishi Sunak backed Hs2, then he scrapped it. Boris Johnson backed a new station in Bradford, then he scrapped it, then Liz Truss reinstated it, then Rishi Sunak as PM scrapped it. Now, he says he’s doing it again.’
“The announcements you’ve made this week, you can’t guarantee any of them will happen, which is not really a change. It’s more inconsistency and more uncertainty for voters.”
HS2 Money
Also, a list of transport projects to be funded using HS2 money, which included schemes that had already been built or were swiftly deleted, was intended only to be “illustrative” Sunak admitted.
On BBC Radio 2 he admitted`: There’s a range of illustrative projects that could be funded.”
Then he added: “But ultimately, it’s going to be local leaders who are in charge. Rather than Westminster politicians dictating to areas what they should do, lots of money is going to be given to local areas for them to decide on their priorities.”
Rishi Sunak’s campaign video
Peter shared his new video and wrote: “Jeez. I’ve just seen Rishi Sunak’s new campaign video. Watch in disbelief & please tell me no one is actually falling for this boll****”
We are pretty sure this reaction is tongue-in-cheek…
Aaron Gilbert wrote in response: “Peter how dare you! This man has had to travel alone recently in a private jet during a time when we need friendship and understanding. AND he rolled his sleeves up to show that he’s one of the people…”
He was also heckled…
