The Last Leg TV show has done it again with a brutal skit on the government and all the things they seem to be doing to ensure they are never going to win an election again.
Anchored by Australian comedian Adam Hills and co-hosted by Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker, it gives a review of the week’s events.
Labour farce
So what has the government been up to lately?
Well, Chancellor Rachel Reeves has defended accepting free tickets to a Sabrina Carpenter concert, adding she will declare them.
Speaking on the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Reeves said she attended the concert a couple of weeks ago with a family member.
“I do now have security which means it’s not as easy as it would have been in the past to just sit in a concert,” she said.
It comes as she has said she is “confident” 10,000 civil service jobs can be axed after numbers ballooned during the pandemic – as she seeks to cut more than £2bn from the budget.
In total, £5bn of cuts are coming, likely to even hit disabled people.
Lovely stuff…….
