How often is Nigel Farage, the MP for Clacton, in Clacton?
Clacton was one of the five seats that were secured by Reform in the July election, with the party winning 46 per cent of votes in the constituency.
Well, during a PMQs session in Feb, Mr Farage asked: “What do I say to 25,000 constituents in Clacton, including 99-year-old Jim O’Dwyer, who flew a full set of missions on Lancaster bombers as a tail-end Charlie, as they’re losing winter fuel allowance, feeling the pinch, while at the same time they’re willing to give away a military base and pay £18billion for the privilege of doing so.”
The Prime Minister replied: “He talks of panic, the only panic is people using the NHS who know that under his policy he wants to charge them for using the NHS. What he should say to the people of Clacton – when he finally finds Clacton – is that they should vote Labour because we are stabilising the economy.”
Christmas visit
Also, last Christmas Nigel Farage made a rare visit to his Clacton constituency as he was joined by Father Christmas.
The Reform MP, who won the Clacton constituency in this year’s general election, shared a video of himself visiting his constituency on Saturday (21 December).
Mr Farage captioned his X post: “You will never guess who is in Clacton today”.
Joined by Father Christmas, Mr Farage said: “The weather might be awful, but I’ll tell you what, you come to Clacton Pier and would you believe it? Even Father Christmas is here.”
A number of residents commented on the post, referencing Mr Farage’s lack of visits to Clacton.
One social media user said: “Yeah – the reality is that they both only come to Clacton once a year.”
Another added: “Nigel Farage in Clacton, that really is incredible!”
Trips abroad
Farage has made at least nine trips abroad, including eight to the US, since he was elected MP for Clacton in Essex last July, with many of them either funded by donors or undertaken for paid employment such as speeches.
In a statement issued by the US organisers, Farage said: “I’m so incredibly excited to be joining the Republican party of Florida for the Disruptors Dinner.
“President Trump’s decisive win and return to the White House inspires us all to continue the fight for freedom globally. I’m looking forward to being back in the Free State of Florida to celebrate with all of you.”

Cummings & Farage meeting
Dominic Cummings has spoken out about his secret dinner with Reform Party leader Nigel Farage.
According to The Guardian, Mr Cummings described his recent encounter with Mr Farage as a “friendly chat”, in his first remarks to the public.
It is thought that Mr Cummings spoke about “the core problems” of the “broken Whitehall” and challenged Mr Farage on the necessity of creating reputable policies in order to draw in funders and hire qualified applicants.
They have not always been buddies. A “nasty little man” is how the Reform UK leader once characterised Mr Cummings. While Mr Cummings called Mr Farage’s return to the political arena “depressing” last summer.
