Israel’s bombardment of Gaza is ongoing, with at least 21 Palestinians killed in fresh attacks, according to medical sources.
On Sunday, airstrikes hit the surgery department at Nasser Hospital, the largest in southern Gaza, killing five people. Earlier today, Israeli raids levelled at least three mosques in Khan Younis and targeted multiple vehicles.
Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from central Gaza, said:
“Attacks are being conducted without any warning to civilians. Since dawn today, 21 Palestinians have been killed, and the toll is expected to rise.”
📊 The staggering death toll
Gaza’s health ministry reports that 50,021 Palestinians have been killed since the war began, with more than 113,000 wounded. That includes 673 people killed since Tuesday, when Israeli bombardments shattered the ceasefire.
⚽ Lineker speaks out
As the crisis deepens, a clip of football legend Gary Lineker has gone viral. His comments reflect the growing frustration over the response to the war.
“It’s the worst thing I have seen in my lifetime. Constant images day in, day out of children losing their lives. But the minute you raise your voice against it, you get accused of being a supporter of Hamas.”
His words have struck a chord online, sparking widespread discussion about the situation in Gaza and the backlash faced by those who speak out.
Many people replied to his comments, with one saying: “Gary Lineker was an amazing football player and is an amazing human being.”
