Teachers have said the cost of living and workloads are pushing them out of the job they love, and has lead them to strike.
It was one the first of seven scheduled days of industrial action organised by the National Education Union (NEU) following a vote by members.

Over on Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley wanted to know why parents couldn’t have more advance notice of the strike action.
Fair enough question but he asked NEU joint general secretary Kevin Courtney in the most patronising, way possible and it backfired making him look quite foolish.
