Parody queen Rosie Holt has nailed it again with a new video. This time taking the voting system to task.
You may have noticed over the last few days the Daily Mail has gone mental about Labour trying to use RU citizens to rig polls.
As Adam Bienkov tweeted: “The Daily Mail splashes for the second day in a row on a non-existent Labour plan to “rig” elections, while ignoring the actual plan to rig elections just publicly admitted to by Jacob Rees-Mogg.”
Jacob Rees-Mogg said Labour’s idea was “particularly silly,” he added: “Parties that try and gerrymander end up finding that their clever scheme comes back to bite them, as dare I say we found by insisting on voter ID for elections.
“We found the people who didn’t have ID were elderly and they by and large voted Conservative, so we made it hard for our own voters and we upset a system that worked perfectly well.
“It was done on trust, and the system worked. If there’s any problem in our system, it’s with postal votes, which don’t require voter ID.”
Also, Jacob Rees-Mogg said the Tories had tried to gerrymander with the Voter ID rules, but that backfired as older Tories didn’t want to do it.
Labour MP was wondering wether to report the Moggster to the police.
So who is allowed to vote?
