Sunak was heckled, again, yesterday and a BBC reporter was greeted with a NSFW chant as England fans celebrated a 6-1 win in the World Cup.
Women’s World Cup
First to the football, and a reporter was looking for some happy fans after the England lionesses beat China and are looking good for the next round of the tournament.
So a BBC roving reporter asked a man what he thought about the game, he started a chant, and it was looking ok, however the content was not football related!
This was one of many resposnes!
“Everyone we need to buy that man a pint – after he’s sobered up ha.”
Sunak Heckled
Keeping on the alcohol theme, Rishi Sunak was pulling pints as the government announced a change in the way alcohol is taxed.
Duties will increase by more than 10% overall, but lower-alcohol drinks and most sparkling wine will be taxed at a lower rate.
The objection came from Rudi Keyser, 46, who runs a pub in Wimbledon, south-west London, and wanted to get across the message that while Sunak was promoting a freeze on beer-based duty, this was not the case for some other drinks, reports The Guardian.
Carl Voderman tweeted: “”Sunak heckled while pulling pint” Every time he’s in public (not a staged stunt) he is booed. When a minister appears in front of an audience, they’re booed or laughed at. The right wing media can do or say what they like. The game is truly up”
