Wrexham FC, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, promoted to Football League after win over Boreham Wood.
Reynolds tweeted: “Rob and I kinda blacked out during this moment, but somehow we’ll never forget it.”
Paul Rudd was also there!
Reynolds told BT Sport: “One thing that’s running through my head over-and-over again is people said at the beginning: ‘why Wrexham, why Wrexham?’ this is exactly why Wrexham.
“What’s happening right now is why.”
McElhenney, speaking about the crowd, said: “I think we can hear how it feels to the town and that’s what’s most important to us.
“I think this is a moment of catharsis for them and celebration and for us to be welcomed into their community and to be welcomed into this experience has been the honour of my life.”
NSFW chant
Wrexham’s players are probably still partying now to be fair.
Paul Mullin and some of his teammates had a few post-match beers after winning the National League title
They were spotted in the Wrexham branch of McDonalds at 2am joining in with sweary chants about the Conservative Party.
Not the first time?
Back in October last year striker Paul Mullin was told he cannot wear his new boots, which featured an X-rated message for the Conservatives.
Mullin had posted an image to his 25,000 followers on Instagram of the boots, with ‘f*** the Tories’ printed on the side.
