It seems Barack Obama Netflix role behind the film Leave the World Behind has people talking as the new thriller is becoming a big hit on the streaming service.

The film is a new release on Netflix.
It is an apocalyptic thriller directed by Sam Esmai. The film did have a small release in theatres in November before it launched on Netflix on 8th December.
It is based on a novel with the same name.
There are some top names in the film including Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon.
The stars are trying to make sense of the breakdown in electronic devices, causing mayhem across the world.

Barack Obama Netflix
In an interview with Vanity Fair, director Sam Esmail told the publication that he asked the former President questions while he was preparing the first draft and said it helped “ground me a little bit on how things might unfold in reality”.
Also, according to USA Today, Obama utilised some of his White House experience to suggest where some dystopian areas of the film might verge into non-realistic territory.
If that wasn’t enough it was produced by the company Higher Ground Productions. This company happened to be founded by Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.
