Prime Minister Liz Truss is still facing harsh criticism as a result of the choices she made in the early weeks of her tenure as premier and their financial repercussions.
On October 18, Truss apologised for pushing her policies “too far and too fast,” but she insisted that she would lead the Conservative Party into the upcoming elections despite the fact that the new Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, had largely abandoned all of her financial plans.
When criticising Truss’ leadership, some people, including Conservative Party members, have opted to be more serious; however, others have gone in a lighter, comedic direction.
