Atlantic journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg, was accidentally added into a group chat about.
He wrote the article, after working out it wasn’t a prank, and wrote: “The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans. U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.”
Goldberg had been added on encrypted messaging service Signal – in a group that included US vice president JD Vance, defence secretary Pete Hegseth, national security adviser Mike Waltz and director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
Hillary Clinton
In a post on X/Twitter, Clinton shared a screenshot of the “Signalgate” article, penned by journalist Jeffery Goldberg, with the title: “The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans.”
In response, Hilary Clinton simply used an eye-roll emoji and wrote: “You have got to be kidding me.”
Trump’s excuse
Trump on his cabinet members using Signal to text war plans to a reporter said: “I don’t know anything about it. I’m not a big fan of The Atlantic. To be it’s a magazine that’s going out of business. But I know nothing about it. You’re saying that they had what?”
