A former model has accused Donald Trump of groping her after being introduced to him by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s, according to a report in The Guardian. Stacey Williams claims the incident took place during an impromptu visit to Trump’s New York office in 1993.
The Allegations
Williams, who had met Epstein the year before at a party, described how the encounter with Trump left her feeling violated. “It became very clear that Jeffrey and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” she said.
As Epstein introduced her to Trump, Williams alleges that the former president immediately placed his hands on her breasts, waist, and buttocks, leaving her in shock and unable to move. “I just froze on the spot,” she said, recalling the uncomfortable moment. Williams also noted that both Trump and Epstein appeared to be smiling at each other during the encounter.
Aftermath of the Incident
Following the incident, Williams said Epstein appeared angry with her, questioning why she had allowed Trump to touch her in such a manner. “He didn’t look at me or speak to me, and I felt this seething rage around me,” she recalled. When they reached the sidewalk outside Trump’s office, Epstein berated her, asking, “Why did you do that?”
Williams explained that she felt a deep sense of shame and disgust after the incident, describing herself as feeling “like a piece of meat.” She added, “I had this horrible pit in my stomach that it was somehow orchestrated.”
Trump’s History of Allegations
Williams’ allegations join a long list of accusations of sexual misconduct against Donald Trump. More than 20 women have come forward, accusing the former president of harassment or assault, claims he has consistently denied.
In 2019, Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex offences, died by suicide in prison while awaiting trial on further charges related to sex trafficking.
The Postcard
A few months after the alleged assault, Williams received a postcard from Trump, featuring his South Florida mansion. The handwritten note read: “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love, Donald.”
Williams shared her story during a call organised by Survivors for Kamala, a group supporting Trump’s political rival Kamala Harris. The group has been vocal about addressing issues related to sexual misconduct and holding public figures accountable for their actions.
Denials Continue
Despite the numerous allegations against him, Donald Trump denies all accusations of sexual misconduct. His legal team has dismissed many of the claims as politically motivated attacks aimed at discrediting his character, particularly during election cycles.
